Anthony Smith
Vice President of Operations
A leader known for delivering critical objectives, Anthony Smith has over 25 years of operational leadership experience in medical device manufacturing.
Mr. Smith has a proven track record in leading teams to develop global operational strategies and execute large capital projects. His experience spans across many operational areas including contract manufacturing, new product introduction, proprietary medical device commercialization, and ramp up activities.
Before joining GT MedTech, Mr. Smith held a variety of leadership roles at NEC Semiconductors, Allergan, and West Pharmaceutical Services.
Mr. Smith holds a BSc Manufacturing Engineering from the Institute of Technology Dublin, a BSc of Business Studies, and a MSc Industrial Engineering from University College Dublin. In addition, Mr. Smith completed two years of leadership executive education with INSEAD and ESMT – European School of Management & Technology Berlin.
