About Us

An accomplished healthcare executive, Shane Brown is adept at creating winning cultures, launching emerging therapies, and implementing innovative business strategies in the United States and globally. Mr. Brown has more than 25 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience in Fortune 500, mid-cap, and startup companies.  

After graduating from Miami University in Ohio, Mr. Brown entered the medical device industry, assuming various commercial roles with B. Braun, WebMD, AngioDynamics, AGA Medical, and St. Jude Medical. He then transitioned to a startup role with Topera Inc., leading the commercialization of a novel device in the electrophysiology market that culminated in an acquisition by Abbott for $250M. Following the acquisition, Mr. Brown held key commercial leadership roles within Abbott’s medical device business. In his last position at Abbott, he led the national accounts team, was focused on the biggest IDNs and GPOs, and had over $1B in responsibility.

Most recently, Mr. Brown was the president and general manager of North America for Itamar Medical, a NASDAQ-listed company that ZOLL Medical acquired for $538 million in December 2021. He is skilled in strategic planning and focused on delivering revenue and profit growth. He is energized by the company’s purpose of improving the lives of patients with brain tumors and is poised to make a substantial contribution to GT Medical Technologies’ senior leadership team.
